A note from Meli Drier, Director of Wanamaker ELC

Franklin Township Neighbors,

As a resident of Franklin Township and a parent of a four and six year old, I personally could not be more ecstatic about the district’s commitment to offering a high-quality early childhood program for our community and staff. Much planning has gone into this project to design a school that is engaging and meets the needs of our youngest learners. This building will be like new, completely refinished top to bottom, inside and out. I look forward to personally meeting you and your family and taking you on a tour when renovations are complete. Wanamaker ELC will be the home of the Trailblazers. A Trailblazer can be defined as a pioneer, an innovator, one who forges a new path. When young children enter school they are developing an identity about what it means to be a learner. At this age children possess a curiosity we must nurture to develop confidence, independence, and a love of inquiry. I am humbled at the privilege of working with families and their children at such a critical time for brain development and growth. Selecting a provider for education and care for your child is a big decision. We thank you for considering Franklin Township as a provider. Please do not hesitate to contact me with questions, concerns, or important information you will want us to know about your child.
