Its Tools Week! We've been talking all about tools that help us complete tasks. Today the Blue Jays used pencils as axels to move a heavy basket. Then they used an incline plane to move a heavy box. Your students can practice with tools at home too! Using kid sized scissors to cut playdoh and paper helps strengthen their hands and improves their cutting skills. Using markers and crayons helps them practice holding writing utensils and improves fine motor skills. The Bumblebees explored splat painting using a mallet! This fun activity helps build large muscle strength and coordination while encouraging creativity and confidence. Children practiced focus, following directions, and problem-solving—skills that support success in school.
